JC: What is AT in one sentence? MN: “The Alexander Technique teaches you, in simple, easy exercises, how the body is designed and supposed to move -like we did when we were children. JC: When would one need it? MN: “Persistent pain, anxiety and depression, to improve posture” JC: Why would they need it? MN: “If you are experiencing pain, want to reduce stress and anxiety and to improve confidence and performance. Hugely beneficial during pregnancy.”
JC: What is it similar to? MN: ‘It is similar to learning to move with the same ease, balance and poise that we did as young children. It is about how we do daily tasks, working, sitting, standing, walking, speaking, even playing music. It improves our body positioning and awareness to create the best results for us as individuals.
