Cosmetic Acupuncture Coming Soon to MNWC!
Cosmetic Acupuncture Coming Soon to MNWC!
How does Cosmetic Acupuncture work?
It involves the insertion of hair-thin needles into specific meridians on the face and body to improve the flow of Qi (energy). This greatly increases the flow of blood circulated to the face, which in-turn nourishes, hydrates, tones and diminishes the appearance of wrinkles. It also enhances the elasticity of the skin and its underlying muscles for firmer and smoother skin. This gives rise to a firmer, healthier and glowing skin complexion.
What kind of results can I expect?
Results with facial acupuncture are slower and less pronounced than with a surgical face-lift. However, it is a less expensive and safer option with no side effects. Don't expect immediate results as you would from harsh treatments like peels or laser procedures. Do expect a gradual increase in tone, more firmness (less sagging) and softening of facial lines. Problem skin, such as dryness, acne or rosacea can be improved or eliminated, particularly by combining external treatment with internal approaches such as herbs, dietary and other changes. Once the procedure is completed, results can last for 3 to 5 years. Maintenance treatments once a month can also be very helpful in maintaining the benefits.
Shantell will be commencing her treatments at MNWC from the 23rd of June. Book now!
