Myotherapy

What is a Myotherapy?Myotherapy

Myotherapists assess and physically treat myofascial pain, injury and dysfunction affecting movement and mobility. Myotherapy is applied in the preventative, corrective and rehabilitative phases of therapy to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structure (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) of the human body.

A distinguishing feature of Myotherapy is the clinical approach, in which methods of evaluation are used such as orthopaedic tests, postural assessment, neurological and functional testing in conjunction with a thorough palpatory assessment of the spine, peripheral joints, and the contraction of muscles.

If you are in pain, you have an existing injury or if you are not sure if you need Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Acupuncture or Remedial Massage.
