Mat and Reformer Pilates
What sort of style is your style?
Fast, more challenging style emphasizing good technique. A variety of exercises to work the entire body so it is more functional to everyday activities.
What is your philosophy or belief about the work you do?
I believe in finding a good balance both physically and mentally to achieve better health. My mission is to help you to be more aware of your body and to help you move more efficiently in everyday life by strengthening the muscles that are weak and toning the muscles that are already strong.
What sort of a guarantee can you put on your service?
You will notice the difference in your body in terms of posture, strength, and overall flexibility.
What can you do that no one else can to help them?
I will be consistent in my teaching abilities and will strive to help you achieve your goals.
What added value can you put onto your classes?
A lot of fun & hard work to get those abs and thighs working.
Why should they see you? What are the benefits of seeing you?
I like to be detailed and precise when giving instructions. I believe that there is a reason for everything and it is important to know why you are doing it.
What proof do you have that you can give those benefits, or your ability to solve those problems?
I attend weekly one on one Pilates sessions with Carina Chan and find the experience extremely valuable.
Carina conducts these sessions in a very professional and engaging manner. Each session always takes my goals into consideration and continually pushes me as my technique and ability improves.
Carina is happy to tailor each session to work on the type of strength, flexibility and posture, always being mindful of any injuries I have at the time.
I find that Carina is able to convey information in a very clear and easy to understand manner, always explaining the breakdown of exercises. Furthermore, Carina is always very supportive and encouraging. As a result I thoroughly enjoy the sessions & will maintain them.

What is the potential impact of not seeing you?
Pilates is a great form of exercise to help you achieve better form and posture, to relieve you from pain or injury and to become stronger and more confident.
What would a normal class /session involve?
A good warm up incorporating breathing and core activation and a series of exercises working the entire body in different planes of motion.
How many sessions will I need?
It is important to be consistent as muscles do forget quite easily. Pilates helps to improve your movement patterns so the more sessions that you do, the more you will see the results and feel the difference.
