What main concerns do you treat?
I teach yoga mat class for all levels. This helps to strengthen muscles and bones and also tones and lengthens the muscles creating better posture and healthier joints. These classes are also well paced to engage the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to soothe stressed city minds and encourage the body to heal.
What is your philosophy or belief about natural healing, and the work you do?
I believe in living a healthy life and maintaining preventative measures such as regular yoga and meditation practice along with good nutrition and a happy life, rather than waiting for a problem to arise and putting a bandaid on it. I endeavour to motivate students in my yoga class to take what they learn on the mat and use it in their daily life, helping them to live confidently and calmly.
What sort of a guarantee can you put on your service?
Regular practice will guarantee an improvement to your overall health.
What value added services, or products can you add onto consultations?
I am happy to answer any specific queries students may have, research any particular ailments they need help with and answer any questions in regards to nutrition/home practice/meditation.
What is the potential impact of not seeing you?
There is a risk that you could miss out on living the happy, healthy life you were meant to live.
What would a normal treatment involve?
The class runs for 55 - 60 minutes and includes warm-ups, stretching and strengthening poses, gentle inversions to help move the lymphatic fluids and cleanse the body of toxins and ends with a brief meditation to calm the mind and help the body process the class.
How many sessions will I need?
You will begin to see results mentally and physically relatively quickly if you practice regularly. Maintaining that practice will see you move in ways you thought you never could! It will also help increase your energy and strength, helping you to live a better life.
Can I claim through private health insurance?
That will depend on your insurance fund and selected options.
What qualifications and experience do you have?
I have an advanced diploma in yoga teacher training from the Australian Yoga Academy. I have also completed training in meditation, kirtan chanting and have practiced yoga and martial arts for the last decade.
What are the main worries or concerns your clients have when they come to see you?
Usually clients complain of stress, injuries due to accidents, muscle weakness, inflexibility and back/shoulder/neck pain is also very common.
Do you specialise in any areas?
My class is a general class that caters for all students so they can relax, stretch and strengthen the whole body.
