Pilates and Yoga

I prefer a more dynamic style, one which works the entire body
What is your philosophy or belief about natural healing, and the work you do?
My mission is to use this work to help you improve your health, to make your life happier and longer and to help you achieve your full potential physically and mentally.
What sort of a guarantee can you put on your service?
If you do the work you will achieve results.
What can you do that no one else can to help them?
I aim to teach you the connection between the safe and natural forms of movement in Pilates and how they apply to the way you use your body in your everyday life.
What added value can you put onto your classes?
An ever-evolving understanding of this work – what I learn I teach. When the teacher stops learning, so does the client.

What would a normal class /session involve?
Pilates is a series of exercises, which engage the mind and the body to provide a full body workout. They is practiced on a mat or with special spring-loaded equipment. Whether using the additional resistance of springs on a Pilates Reformer or the constant resistance of gravity in mat work, the Pilates repertoire builds strength, develops proper alignment and posture, and increases flexibility
How many sessions will I need?
How long do you want to live? Pilates is ongoing and should be practiced regularly.
Can I claim through private health insurance?
Some funds allow rebates. Please ask for further details.
What qualifications and experience do you have?
Certificate 4 in Pilates instruction. Ongoing training, the most recent being an amazing training experience in Seattle, USA. I have been teaching Pilates since 2004, Yoga since 2001.
What are the main worries or concerns your clients have when they come to see you?
They are not fit or flexible enough – and they don’t have to be. The work will help them.
Do you specialize in any areas?
I understand back pain well as I have experienced it. Pilates helped we overcome the issues and keeps me fit and well.
