What is your philosophy or belief about natural healing, and the work you do?

Naturopathy for me is about supporting individuals to make the best choices for their health. By correcting deficiencies and relieving excesses the body is able to repair. Once this happens, a balanced lifestyle and diet will allow a natural state of wellness to follow. I encourage my patients to approach things with a steady mind and a commitment to their long term wellbeing.

What sort of a guarantee can you put on your service?

I can guarantee that I am 100% committed to treating you as an individual and will always put your health first. As a man, I guarantee to understand your men’s health issues. I will only use treatments that are proven to be safe as part of an integrative and evidence-based model. I am genuinely interested in understanding why you are ill and why it is happening now. I am here to listen.

What is the potential impact of not seeing you?

As a qualified naturopath I am trained to uncover the causes of your ‘dis-ease’. If your symptoms are left unresolved you can expect it to move deeper into your body and compromising your whole way of being.

It’s great to see people become free of the cycle of trying to battle on alone and to stop wasting money and doing potential harm to themselves by self prescribing and seeking quick fixes.

What would a normal treatment involve?

Treatment involves an initial 1 hour consultation. We need this time to gather relevant information, perform diagnostic tests and compile a personal plan to get your wellness back on track.

How many sessions will I need?

An old naturopathic saying is to allow the body 1 month of treatment for every year of chronic disease. Of course, it is important to recognise that many modern diseases are multi-factorial and the body system may require long-term restoration. Diligent patients usually experience a greater sense of wellness and health in as little as 1 month.

Can I claim through private health insurance?

Yes. Health rebates are available. You will need to check with your health fund.

What qualifications and experience do you have?

  • BHSc Naturopathy
  • Full Member National Herbalist Ass. Australia
  • MINDD Foundation Member
  • Advanced Mineral Therapy Training
  • Certificate IV Small Business Management
  • Senior Pharmacy Naturopath

What are the main worries or concerns your clients have when they come to see you?

Patients want to feel better in themselves and feel they are working with a practitioner who can help them reach their goals of health and wellness within a holistic framework. Often they are at wits end or at the end of the road because conventional medicine alone offers limited assistance. Natural medicine is an effective choice to help bridge this gap.
