Doreen Schwegler

Doreen has been a Naturopath and Medical Scientist for over 30 years.  She is dedicated to helping our clients achieve optimal health and wellness through natural means.

In 1982 Doreen graduated from RMIT University with a degree in Applied Science specialising in haematology. She worked with various laboratories and training hospitals in the UK and Australia completing another 4 year degree in Naturopathy, in 1989. She completed an advanced certificate in Natural Fertility Management and pre-conception health care in 2002, and has been specialising in assisting couples overcome fertility concerns and miscarriages. Doreen is also an experienced Bowen therapy practitioner, starting in 1989, and upgrading her qualifications to obtain a Diploma of Bowen Therapy in 2015.

Doreen assists patients with a wide range of health conditions and specialises in three main areas:

  • Women’s Health and Natural Fertility Management – correcting hormone imbalance and empowering couples to have healthy babies and overcome fertility challenges including miscarriage, IVF programs and achieving full-term pregnancy
  • Weight Management – offering effective, individualised programs based around your genetic profile.  These programs include addressing the hidden ‘drivers’ of weight gain including stress, hormonal imbalance, inflammation, toxicity and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Bowen Therapy – is the physical manipulation of muscle and connective tissue as an effective option for pain management including back & neck problems, shoulder, leg, knee and foot issues

Doreen authored Complete Health Overhaul – A Guide towards Happiness, Better Sex and Healthy Ageing in 2013, and co-authored Health for Mature Women and Better Business Builders. Doreen has lectured extensively several tertiary institutions; presented seminars in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe; and has had articles published in numerous magazines. She has been an international podcast guest regarding her work on recurrent miscarriages.
