Stein Ringstad

Stein is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in managing numerous presentations including depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, anger, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, low self-esteem, procrastination, perfectionism, study-and work-related stress, and problems that can accompany chronic pain or illness. He understands the importance of identifying the origins of our presenting challenges so these can be resolved to pave the way for new and healthier patterns.

He has extensive experience working with trauma and uses numerous approaches including Eye Movement Desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness-based approaches to help people achieve their desired outcomes.

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology)
